Gmail is getting a new look: An Exciting news from Google: The number of Google’s Gmail users continues to grow. For this reason, Google is also rolling out their platform to improve the user experience. Google has made an official announcement in this regard. They say that everyone’s favourite e-mail application Gmail is coming with a new look.
The search engine giant is coming up with some new plans for Google Workspace. This will bring Google Chat, Google Meet and Google Space closer to Gmail. From now on, users will be able to see these three services in the Gmail window.
According to Google, this integrated view of Gmail will be available from the second quarter of 2022. In other words, Gmail can be used in this new interface from June this year.
The search engine Google also published a blog about the development of the Google workspace. From February 8, users will be able to check this integrated view of Gmail.
In the new layout, users will be given the option to switch between the four buttons of Email, Chat, Space and Meet. Gmail, Chat and Meat are no longer the same layouts they used to be.
From now on, users will be able to view any one of the four buttons at once in a slightly larger size. At the same time, there will be support for the notification bubble. Users will also be able to stay up-to-date on other tabs that Google has suggested.
Google says that those who will update the new layout of Gmail will be able to visualize the same list and label options in an e-mail from February 2. But for those who are not able to do it now, there is a chance until April.
Until this look is rolled out in the second quarter of 2022, users will be given the opportunity to return to the old layout from the new layout, according to Google.
This upcoming update of Gmail will be available to Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Plus, Education Fundamentals, Education Plus, Frontline, Nonprofit, G Suite Basic and Business Customer, and those who are not customers of Google Workspace Essentials.
Google announced this change in the workspace in 2021. One of its features was the convenience of one-on-one calling with one user, without the need for a Google meet link.
